چکیده
At present, there are many excellent cultivars of raspberry worldwide with different fruit colors, such as yellow, red, purple and black. Anthocyanin accumulation is responsible for flower coloration in plants. Anthocyanins belong to flavonoids which natural pigments widely distributed The MYB transcription factor (TF) plays a vital regulatory role the metabolic pathway anthocyanins. Here, RoMYB10, an R2R3-MYB black (Rubus occidentalis L.), was isolated. basic physical chemical properties, conserved motif distribution, evolutionary relationship subcellular localization were analyzed RoMYB10 encoded amino acid sequence. contents anthocyanin determined four colored fruits by high-performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS). expression levels MYB10 genes various tissues at developmental stages raspberries detected real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (qRT-PCR). results showed that gene highest raspberry. Moreover, significantly higher than other tissues, especially ripe mottled fruits. When ectopic overexpression occurred tobacco, total transgenic tobacco plants those wild-type (WT) In addition, up-regulated key biosynthesis, NtCHS, NtCHI, NtF3H, NtANS NtUFGT. Our study suggests involved regulating biosynthesis has potential molecular tool manipulating anthocyanins using engineering.

An R2R3-MYB Transcription Factor Regulates Capsaicinoid Biosynthesis.
Capsaicinoids are responsible for the hot taste of chili peppers. They are restricted to the genus Capsicum and are synthesized by the acylation of the aromatic compound vanillylamine (derived from the phenylpropanoid pathway) with a branched-chain fatty acid by the catalysis of the putative enzyme capsaicinoid synthase. R2R3-MYB transcription factors have been reported in different species of ...

متن کاملAn R2R3-type MYB transcription factor, GmMYB29, regulates isoflavone biosynthesis in soybean
Isoflavones comprise a group of secondary metabolites produced almost exclusively by plants in the legume family, including soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.]. They play vital roles in plant defense and have many beneficial effects on human health. Isoflavone content is a complex quantitative trait controlled by multiple genes, and the genetic mechanisms underlying isoflavone biosynthesis remain ...

متن کاملCharacterization of a Citrus R2R3-MYB Transcription Factor that Regulates the Flavonol and Hydroxycinnamic Acid Biosynthesis
Flavonols and hydroxycinnamic acids are important phenylpropanoid metabolites in plants. In this study, we isolated and characterized a citrus R2R3-MYB transcription factor CsMYBF1, encoding a protein belonging to the flavonol-specific MYB subgroup. Ectopic expression of CsMYBF1 in tomato led to an up-regulation of a series of genes involved in primary metabolism and the phenylpropanoid pathway...
